Church Trap (2013) was a temporary installation constructed from reclaimed wood fencing posts, resembling a decaying Baptist church transformed into a box trap. The work examined religious dogma, Christian fanaticism, and the use of faith as a mechanism of control. An interactive nineteenth-century pump organ drew participants into a space for spontaneous music, ceremonies, weddings, and a funeral. The installation concluded with a ceremonial burn; only documentation remains.
